Woods Construction Ltd is led by Josh Woods, a Licensed Building Practitioner and member of the Master Builders Association, with over 24 years of experience in the building industry. As a third-generation tradesman, Josh brings skill, knowledge, and dedication to every project.

Originally from Hawke’s Bay, Josh worked on high-end residential builds and became a foreman at Davcon Construction before founding Woods Construction Ltd in 2018. Known for his attention to detail and strong work ethic, Josh ensures each project is completed to the highest standard.

Josh and his wife Renee, of Renee Woods Architect Ltd, frequently collaborate on projects, combining their expertise in construction and architecture to deliver seamless, well-rounded results for clients.

Now based in Matarangi with their two young sons, Josh and Renee value a lifestyle that blends work and family. They enjoy raising their children in a close-knit community while building homes that reflect the lifestyle they value.
